CATC names Jan Students of a Month

AUGUSTA — Capital Area Technical Center has announced a Jan Students of a Month, according to a news recover from a center.

Mackenzie Guerin is a Winthrop High School youth enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant program. Her clinical practice have taken her to Maine Veterans’ Home and Augusta Rehabilitation Center. Her instructor, Bethany Sherman said, “Mackenzie is good tyro and will make a good serve to a medical field,” according to a release.

When she is not in school, Guerin works during China Empress and competes with a Diamond Cheer Athletics team. She skeleton to pursue serve preparation and enter a healthy medicine field.

Andrew Coulombe is a Maranacook Community High School comparison enrolled in a Automotive Technology module for a second year.

He recently won a SkillsUSA Auto Service Technician foe during a technical core and will transport to Bangor in Mar to contest in a State SkillsUSA competition. His instructor, Keith Hart, pronounced “Andrew will always go out of his approach to assistance someone and is always perplexing to improved himself, that are good traits for success in a automobile tech field,” according to a release.

Coulombe works as a automechanic during Scotty’s Garage in Mount Vernon. In a fall, he skeleton to continue his preparation in automotive technology.
